Explore the impact of the digital agenda for school libraries

I have a printed and bound set of conference papers in my bag, I've skimmed the abstracts for the first strand and have read Raylee's introductory paper. I have no idea how I shall find time to read all the forum discussions over the next few weeks, but I guess there were no interesting programs scheduled on idiot box anyway :>
I'm looking forward to learning with all the conference participants and bouncing ideas around to formulate and refine my own understandings of approaches to digital learning and how I can foster the positives here in my school.

Hi Kate!!! We meet again. I am only half way through prnting out the papers. I keep them in a folder for ready reference for those odd moments of time when I can browse them. I have the two previous online conference papers as well and often refer to them (or give them to someone else to read when I am dealing with an issue.

Kate - You've certainly got a great idea there by setting yourself up with a set of conference papers. This will ultimately end up being a valuable resource for you especially if you also "snip" some gems from the forums to add to your folder and then share the information with colleagues and staff within your school.

Now that you have also set up a blog, you can use this facility to record your learning journey and, again, let colleagues know this is a space they can visit.
